The policy of Dinsdale Spa Golf Club is to set a smart yet congenial atmosphere alongside the traditions and heritage of our great game. Please assist us by ensuring that you and your guests adhere to this policy when visiting the Club. It is expected that all members, guests and visitors should be appropriately and smartly attired at all times. On the Golf CourseSmart golfing clothing, which may include tailored shorts. Shirts must be tucked in at all times, trouser bottoms may not be tucked into socks and when caps are worn the peak must to the front. Gentlemen when playing in shorts, may wear either predominantly white ankle length sports socks or single colour long socks. Proper golfing footwear is to be worn on the course, parctice areas and the putting green. In the ClubhouseNo golf shoes, including soft spikes are to be worn in any part of the clubhouse other than the locker rooms. Gentlemen and Ladies casual dress is acceptable in both the lounge and dining areas, and we would request that the appropriate dress code is observed for presentations and formal occasions Unacceptable DressThe following forms of dress are deemed to be unacceptable anywhere on the course or premises:
The Club Secretary and his staff are required to determine the appropriateness of dress both on and off the golf course and in such cases their decision is final. Members are reminded that they are responsible for the conduct and behaviour, which includes dress, of their guests. Failure to observe either the spirit or the letter of these rules may result in a member or Visitor being asked to leave the Club premises. Mobile phones are not permitted on the golf course or first floor of the clubhouse. We thank you for your co-operation. |
